About Us
Achieve Fitness opened it's doors on January 30th, 2006. The road to getting the gym open was quite a process for the owners, Rusty and Kimberly Hurd. With many years in the physical fitness business, Rusty would visit his family here in Morgan and always had a vision that he would someday open a fitness center in Morgan. During his visits, he always wished that there was something more to do and would have the urge to "work out". In 1996 Rusty's parents moved to Morgan, and after ten years, opening a fitness center became a reality. The ball really started rolling in 2004 while having lunch with a friend, who also had a dream of opening his own gym. From that day on, small steps were taken everyday toward the opening of Achieve Fitness.
While working on the opening of the center, Rusty met his beautiful wife, Kimberly, which of course distracted him for a short time. While planning on marrying the love of his life, Kimberly coaxed him to follow his dream and complete the goal of making Achieve Fitness a reality.
Rusty and Kimberly were married May 4th, 2005 and with their four children, they both quit their jobs and moved their newly combined family to Morgan three months later. While many people would consider the odds stacked against them, they did have quite a bit on their plate, they were able to finally make their dream a reality.
Achieve Fitness is over 500 members strong and growing each week. Rusty and Kimberly each offer their comforting and inspiring personalities to the fitness center, which has been a very beneficial attribute to the city of Morgan. It has been quoted several times as "The best thing that has ever happened to Morgan."
