Someone who is just starting out on their fitness journey and wants to learn the basics of lifting
Someone who has had prior experience but frequently runs into injuries or plateaus
Someone who wants to improve their overall movement quality in order to enhance their lifting or their sport
Nearly everyone who joins Achieve Fitness starts out on our foundations program - it’s that important! The patterns and exercises in this program are key foundational pieces that you’ll be be able to build off of for future, more advanced programs. As the name implies, this program lays a solid foundation of improved mobility, movement quality, core functioning and control, and a better understanding of how to perform important movement patterns like the squat, hinge, lunge, pushup, row, etc.
IF YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO FOLLOW THIS PROGRM AS WRITTEN, THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED:
Dumbbells and/or kettlebells
TRX (or any other brand) Suspension Trainers
Cable machine or Superbands
When you receive the program, you will have the option to make any modifications you need based on any equipment limitations you may have! For instance, if the program calls for a TRX row and you don’t have access to a TRX, you will be able to access a list of exercises that work similar muscle groups and you can use to sub out the TRX row while still getting the general benefits of the exercise!
As we mentioned above, the Foundations program aims to improve mobility, movement quality, and core functioning and control. It will also break down details of how to perform important movement patterns such as squats, deadlifts, lunges, pushups, rows, and more!
Our Foundations program is 12 weeks long and is made up of three 4-week cycles. This means that weeks 1, 2, 3, and 4 will be made up of the same exercises which you will progress in either reps or weight from week to week. Once you’ve completed week four, the exercises will change up completely for the next 4-week cycle! Each cycle builds upon the last so not only are you progressing week to week, but you’re also learning new exercises each month!
Cost: $49 every 4 weeks for the 12 week program
