Who it’s for:
OUR POWERLIFTING CYCLE PROGRAM IS THE PERFECT PLAN FOR:
Someone who is already comfortable with the powerlifts (back squat, bench press, and deadlift) and is interested in increasing their strength in all three
Someone who wants to “max out” and find their 1RM for the big 3 lifts
Once you’ve become fairly familiar with the big 3 powerlifts, it’s only natural to become curious about how much you could lift for each one! But “maxing out” shouldn’t be taken lightly, and it’s never a good idea to randomly test out your 1RM. That’s why we created this powerlifting cycle, which consists of progressive phases along with a taper week in order to best prepare you for a successful and safe max out day!
Equipment required:
IF YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO FOLLOW THIS PROGRM AS WRITTEN, THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED:
Barbell and Weight Plates
Squat Rack or Rig
Bench
Dumbbells and/or Kettlebells
Stability Ball
Cable Machine and/or Bands
When you receive the program, you will have the option to make modifications to some of the accessory exercises, so if you don’t have a stability ball or TRX, you can swap those exercises out for similar movement patterns that utilize dumbbells or a cable machine instead. A barbell and interchangeable weight plates are definitely required, however, as you will not be able to benefit from this program without them!
Program details:
Powerlifting is so much fun and the desire to max out is inevitable! We just want to make sure you do it in a way that is safe and most effective! This program will take you through two 5-week progressive phases, a taper week, and a “max out day” where you will test our your 1 rep max for all three lifts!
By the time your max out day rolls around, you will have been progressively increasing your weights week to week and should feel confident and strong going into the day! The warm ups and accessory exercises included in these workouts will help to sure up any movement compensations or imbalances in order to optimize your strength in the main lifts.
Cost: $49 every 4 weeks for the 12 week program
